Collins Inn & Seaside Cottages is a boutique B&B in Ocean Shores, close to Damon Point Natural Area. I came here in August 2020 looking for a respite from being locked in my house for more than half a year. This beautifully decorated, picture-perfect little hotel provided me with much needed change of scenery. I thoroughly enjoyed every moment of my stay.
Upon my arrival I was immediately greeted by a local herd of deer. Checking in was thus postponed until I took about a million of photos (luckily I brought my zoom lens with me).
When it got too dark for photos (and not because I got tired of deer) I proceeded inside, met the owners, swooned over the interiors, got to my room upstairs, swooned over the bathtub. Headed to North Jetty to watch the sunset (spectacular), got back, got into the bathtub. Had the soak of my life (okay, maybe not life, but it was the best I had in eight months, that’s for sure).
The only thing that wasn’t quite perfect was the breakfast – due to COVID restrictions it consisted mostly of pre-packaged food. But I’m hoping it’s a temporary measure. Would love to come back to Collins Inn sometime, if only for a soak.
I visited Collins Inn & Seaside Cottages in August 2020 as part of my Olympic loop drive.
