It so happens that I’ve never been to this park before, even when I lived in Tokyo, so this was my first time. Hibiya park, adjacent to Tokyo’s Imperial Palace, is quite spacious – there are big western style open spaces with green lawns and flower beds, but also some quiet corners with traditional Japanese feel, like the pretty Unkei pond where the Crane fountain, one of the oldest city fountains in Japan, can be found. I liked this part of the park the most. It must be lovely here when the leaves change color.
