Once my home for 7 years, this city holds a lot of nostalgia – and (still) a lot of secrets. Every time I visit I want to see something familiar and something new.
It’s been more than 10 years since I last visited Tokyo Tower. Seems like nothing has changed. I like it here, although stepping on the glass floor gives me goosebumps.
And a new discovery: centrally located city onsen (LaQua), good for a soak and rest after a long flight. Right next to Tokyo Dome, and every now and again you can hear the screams from the adjacent roller-coaster. Good soak.
