Orcas Island Pottery is a must visit place for all the lovers of beautiful things. It is said to be the oldest pottery studio in the Pacific Northwest, it sells works from various artists, but even if you don’t intend to buy anything – the outdoor pottery display in the garden alone is worth the drive. I love pottery, and I bought a few pieces there that I still use everyday in my house, but frankly, the most memorable thing about this place for me was its outdoor spaces. I wish I could take their whole garden and magically transport it to my backyard, with pottery-filled benches, barns, tree-houses and all. Don’t miss this little gem on Orcas Island.
I visited Orcas Island Pottery as part of my 4 days 3 nights San Juan Islands trip.
